THE SCRIPTURES

We believe that the Bible, both Old and New Testament, is the complete revelation from God and is verbally  inspired by God.  The Bible is the sole authority for Christian faith and Conduct. We believe the 1611 King James Bible is the preserved Word of God.

We believe in the triune God who is eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ- His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious death, His bodily resurrection, and His exaltation at God’s right hand.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the agent in the New Birth. He does the work of conviction and regeneration. He seals, guides, teaches, witnesses, sanctifies, and empowers for service.

We believe that man was created in the image of God but by choice fell from his sinless state. As a result, all are sinners and guilty before God in need of a Saviour.

We believe that salvation is wholly of grace and that Jesus Christ is the only way. The condition of salvation is repentance toward God and faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work.

We believe that those who are born-again are eternally secure. This security is based upon the finished work of Jesus Christ.

We believe that the visible church is a congregation of baptized believers, practicing  New Testament principles, believing its doctrines, observing its ordinances, and exercising autonomy.

We believe in the personal, pre-tribulational, pre-millennial, imminent return of Jesus Christ.

We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in Hell.

We believe in the literal fulfillment of the prophecies and promises of the Scriptures which

foretell and assure the future regeneration and restoration of Israel as a nation.

CURRENT TRENDS IN RELIGION

We take a clear-cut stand against the current trends of today. These include the ecumenical movement, neo-orthodoxy, neo-evangelicalism, the charismatic movement, and the New Age movement.

POLICIES & PROCEDURES

 PURPOSE

Our purpose is four-fold:

1.    To win the lost to Jesus Christ.

2.    To establish indigenous independent Baptist Churches.

3.    To train God-called men to be evangelists, missionaries, teachers, and pastors.

4.    To reach America and the world with the Gospel through a world-wide printing ministry.

MISSIONARIES

Every missionary candidate must be a member of and commissioned by a local, independent, Fundamental, Baptist Church. They must agree with our Doctrine Statement and Policies.

LOCAL CHURCH

The local church is the sending agency. F.B.H.M.I. assist the local church in getting its missionaries to the field.

SUPPORT OF THE HOME OFFICE

Support of the home office is never mandatory for any missionary. The secretaries, President and Directors, all serve as missionaries. They depend upon the prayers and financial support of churches and individuals.
