A PERSONAL WORD FROM THE

SESSIONS FAMILY

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Sessions family. I was saved on January 25, 1970 in Tallassee, Alabama. After graduating from Tennessee Temple University, I spent about 14 years as a pastor. In 1987, I felt God’s leadership to resign the pastorate and go full time as a missionary to Grenada, West Indies. After establishing two churches and a Bible Institute, we moved to Trinidad where we established a Bible believing church and Bible Institute. As the Director of Caribbean Missions, our goal is to plant churches on all the Caribbean Islands. Currently, we have established works on eight islands.

OUR BOARD

The purpose of Fundamental Baptist Home Missions, Inc. is:

 TO ESTABLISH local churches through local churches.

 TO STRENGTHEN local churches through missionary evangelism.

 TO TRAIN Pastors and Teachers.

 TO PREACH God’s Word in Missions

Conferences and Revival Meetings.

 TO REACH America and the world with the printed Word through a worldwide printing ministry.

The Missionary Mandate is to  GO . . . PREACH . . . BAPTIZE . . .  TEACH . . . ORGANIZE

We believe each church should become indigenous and have a local or national pastor.

 

 

OUR BELIEFS

1. SCRIPTURES – We believe the Bible is the complete revelation from God and is verbally inspired of God. We believe the 1611 King James Authorized Bible is God’s preserved Word.

2. THE TRINITY – God the Father is supreme in His persons, eternal in His being, absolute in His attributes, glorious in His perfection. We believe Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the virgin birth, His deity  and sinless life, His vicarious death, His bodily resurrection and ascension, and His personal, premillennial return.

We believe the Holy Spirit executes the plan of God for our conviction and salvation. Christians are partakers of the Holy Spirit and empowered for service by Him.

3. THE FALL OF MAN – We believe that man was created in the image of God, and by choice, fell into sin and death; hence every person is sinful and under condemnation to eternal judgment.

4. THE SALVATION OF SINNERS – We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace, and that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation.

5. THE SECURITY OF THE BELIEVER – We believe that those who receive Jesus Christ as Saviour are eternally secure. Our security rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ; as a result, we have assurance.

6. HEAVEN AND HELL – We believe in the eternal blessedness of the saved in Heaven and the eternal punishment of the lost in Hell.

 

OUR MESSAGE

1. YOU NEED TO BE SAVED

“For all have sinned . . .” Rom. 3:23

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Rom. 6:23

2. YOU CANNOT SAVE YOURSELF

“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us . . .” Titus 3:5

3. CHRIST DIED TO SAVE YOU

“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Rom. 5:8

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

4. REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL MESSAGE

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.” Luke 13:3

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” Rom. 10:9
