David Perryman is one of our newest missionaries, although he is not new to the country of Honduras. Having been led to start three churches and children’s homes. Pastor Bud Shepherd led David Perryman to Christ February 6, 1996. Within the year the Lord opened the way for Bro. David to go to Trinidad where they put up a tent for a revival campaign. He later was led to Honduras and started his first children’s home. Bro. David is now working to start a church and children’s home in San Salvador. He has met with many San Salvador Pastors and there is a good base of support from this work.In the beginning support for a home took about $1500 per month which brother David raised through his home church, Bible Way Baptist Church in Wilkesboro, NC. Since beginning this ministry David has started three churches through national preachers in Honduras: Calvary Baptist Church in Cofradia; Saved by Grace Baptist Church in Choloma; and Blood of Christ Baptist Church in Copan, Honduras.
National pastors need only 250-300 dollars a month to be full time in the ministry. Brother David raises these funds through churches in the USA. These dedicated men are not greedy of “filthy lucre” serving Jesus Christ with all their hearts. What dedication! It may be that you can support a pastor or child through this ministry. Twenty-five or fifty dollars a month can go a long way to meeting their needs. We need your help to see this work go further to the conditions
Bro. Perryman truly loves these children as you can see on the face of the children (top right) and they also love him. These boys and girls would not be in school without these homes. Education for these 30 children costs about $1500 a year. The home provides their books, uniforms and clothes for school.
Most of these children have never slept in a bed until they came to the home. Their living conditions were very hard and lonely. Children as young as 6 years are on their own. Many dig through garbage dumps for their food. Now they have clean clothes, warm dry beds and eat fresh cooked meals each day. They also have devotions and study the Word of God. Bible study is a joyful time for the children. Evangelism is a vital part to these youth. They look forward to going out with the Gospel each week and they win the lost to Jesus Christ.
Medical care is also provided for the homes. There is no lack in the lives of our kids. We want them to be happy and loved. There are so many which have nothing. This gives us a desire to do more and more. If we had an hundred homes we could not help all who need help. Your gifts to this ministry is used entirely for God’s glory and the care of these children.
The bus picture at right shows brother Roberto and Sister Sugulpa with the bus provided for their ministry in El Salvador. These are two very dedicated servants of Jesus Christ. It was our joy to raise the funds to buy this bus for their church.
The couple on the right are the future house parents of the home planned in San Salvador. Without committed men and women we could not accomplish out vision. We did not name them for security reason.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Thank you for everything you are doing to help us, and also helping our kids in Honduras. To all the churches and individuals that have helped us with support, I want to say thanks. When I return from Central America in May, I will be sending updates about the churches there and the Children's Home.
His Servant,
David Perryman
