Dear Prayer Warriors

The lord has put a burden on my heart that I must share with other Christians. Pastor I. R. Bhushnam, a national pastor of India, has founded thirty fundamental Baptist churches in over thirty years. I visited ten of them recently and saw one of the hardest working pastors I have ever seen. Allow me to briefly tell you about my burden. Brother Bhushnam and his wife slept on the ground for several years while planting churches. His only son died several years ago after rejecting the kidney Mrs. Bhushnam donated. Since the surgery, Mrs. Bhushnam has gained much weight and is unable to travel with her husband to the churches due to her health.

The law in India forces landlords to evict tenants every year or else the house belongs to the tenant. Six months ago two churches and a missionary began to raise 9,000.00 to help them buy a $25,000.00 house. They needed $11,000.00 to pay the seller because the bank would only loan $14,000.00. His family is living in the house and the bank has made the loan, however the $2,000.00 still owed to the seller was to be paid by the end of January, and has not been paid.

Brother Bhushnam is sixty-five and has partial paralysis due to a stroke a few years ago. Please help me with this burden by your prayers and financial support. His and my burden is for the needs of the thirty churches, but I must see to this burden first.
